In October of each year, Rodgers Consulting sponsors the El Paso School Nutrition Showcase where vendors are invited to show new products available to school districts throughout far west Texas and New Mexico. Students, teachers, directors, supervisors, and food service personnel are involved in helping to evaluate and learn about new products available for their schools at the Showcase.

Rodgers Consulting also provides one-on-one technical assistance to directors and managers on menu planning and federal regulations and reports. Having served as a district nutrition and training coordinator, district child nutrition director and regional child nutrition specialist, Karla Rodgers brings a wealth of expertise to help school districts prosper. Karla is trained in the NutriKids menu analysis program and is available to provide menu planning and nutrient analysis of menus to meet the new menu requirements.

Jim Rodgers has served as a trainer for Texas Association for School Nutrition, El Paso Parks and Recreation, AmeriCorps, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, United Way of El Paso, Fort Bliss Military Base, Texas 4-H and Youth Association, Kids, Kows, and More education program and the 4-H and Youth Development Program.
